Walking the Talk: Applying Standards to our Own Work
Time Frame: (3 hours)
Increasingly, student performance is being judged against standards. How should we as educators "walk the talk" and apply standards to our own work? In this workshop, we'll explore this question by examining a set of curriculum and assessment Design Standards to inform and guide our improvement efforts at the classroom, school and district levels.
Participants will learn and apply a structured process for reviewing curricular designs.
Optional: Participants bring a unit design for review.
